Optimal allocation of irrigation water in a single-reservoir and a single-pumping-station system under deficit irrigation conditions

Abstract Aiming at the optimal allocation of irrigation water in a multi-water source project resource shortage area, this study developed joint scheduling optimization model for reservoir and pumping station under deficit conditions. In model, maximum annual yield area was objective function; supply, spill replenishment pump each stage were decision variables; total supply system, operation criteria, rights station, demand crop during entire growth period constraint According to characteristics large system decomposition aggregation dynamic programming (DADP) method is proposed transform N + 1 dimensional problem into one-dimensional solution. addition, also uses real-coded genetic algorithm (RGA) DADP compare algorithms, discusses performance two algorithms from applicability algorithm.
